Fussell Putters Featured Among the Best in September Issue of Golf Digest’s “The Mind’s Eye” Putter Optics" Article.

The Exciter putter, manufactured by McKinney, Texas USA based Fussell Putters is one of eight putters featured in the September 2008 issue of Golf Digest.  Max Adler, writing the review, edited by Mike Stachura, with photographs by Jim Herity, discusses putter optics and the effect that they have on the eye and the brain.  “Designer Travis Fussell, whose company, Fussell Putters, is expanding on the two-ball system popularized by Odyssey, believes staggered discs create an optic flow in a golfer’s peripheral vision during the stroke,” states Adler.  “The staggered alignment discs on the Exciter putter are individually machine-milled to provide a visual readout of exactly where your putter is lined up,” said Fussell.  In addition, Fussell states, “Essential to the Exciter performance is its patented ‘Assured Address Position’ which assures the golfer the same address position over the ball every time for a more repeatable stroke.”

The other putters reviewed in the article are Guerin Rife, Nike, Cleveland, Titleist/Scotty Cameron, Seemore, Yes! Golf and Profound Putters.
